The Head Start Resource Center is an online library of materials that have been developed in conjunction with Acelero Learning's local affiliate programs.
By making these materials available to all Head Start programs, at no cost, we hope, in some small way, to expand our impact beyond the programs we support directly in our network.
The first resource, Head Start Record Keeping and Reporting Binder System is available now!
The Head Start Record Keeping and Reporting Binder System provides a structure for clear, comprehensive documentation of Head Start program management. Through this system, a wide range of information and key activities can be documented in an organized and logical way, for easy review by staff as well as external audiences as needed. While primarily intended for ongoing Head Start staff use and reference, the Head Start Record Keeping and Reporting Binder System is also designed to align with the PRISM Records Request, thus simplifying preparation for the PRISM review.
The Head Start Record Keeping and Reporting Binder System consists of a series of binders, each with a defined set of contents related to a specific area of program management. For multi-site grantees, the system specifies which binders should be maintained at the center level, and which program-wide. The Head Start Record Keeping and Reporting Binder System guidelines document provides a list of the component binders; the organization and contents of each binder; instructions for creating that binder; and suggested frequency of monitoring and updating its contents.
How to obtain this valuable resource:

We will only use your email to send you a copy of this resource, updates about work, let you know when new resources are added, and to ask for feedback and suggestions on how we can continue to improve the materials and the resource center as a whole.
