Acelero Learning: A Proven Track Record of Success

The success of our local affiliates reflects Acelero’s approach:
minimizing out of classroom expenses
increasing investments in teacher salaries
reducing family advocate case loads
expanding the number of days of service provided to children and families

In 2001, Acelero Learning began working with local leaders in communities where Head Start grants had been revoked or relinquished to build strong organizations that could serve as the replacement grantee. What began with one partner program, serving 227 children in Newburgh, New York, has now grown to a network of programs that serve nearly 2000 children and families in Head Start regions around the country.

In 2005, Acelero Learning began to partner with local leaders in different communities across the country to form local Acelero Learning affiliate organizations to serve as single-purpose Head Start grantees. Our first two local affiliates, in Camden County, and Monmouth County, NJ, have quickly become high-quality Head Start programs, offering enhanced and expanded services to children and families.
