Acelero Learning Selected as One of the New Head Start Replacement Grantees for Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Acelero Learning will provide high-quality services to 800 young children and their families in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Acelero Learning has been selected by the US Department of Health and Human Services to be one of four Head Start grantees for Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Acelero Learning will provide services in Milwaukee through Acelero Learning Milwaukee County, a subsidiary of the company that will serve as a Head Start delegate agency for the Milwaukee service area.

His visit was to review programs offered bythe county's newprovider, Acelero Learning Monmouth County Head Start Inc., whose founder and CEO is Aaron Lieberman.

Having started the now nationwide education nonprofit Jumpstart as an Echoing Green Fellow in 1993 while attending Yale, Aaron Lieberman has embarked upon Acelero, his new for-profit enterprise in the same field of education, nearly a decade later. Jumpstart is an organization that trains college students as one-on-one tutors for preschoolers in low-income neighborhoods, while the three-year-old Acelero Learning provides organizational and consulting services to the federally funded Head Start programs.

Acelero Learning Monmouth County Head Start, Inc. was named the Head Start grantee for Monmouth County, New Jersey today by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Acelero Learning Monmouth County was formed as a partnership between Acelero Learning, a company that specializes in helping local communities run high quality Head Start programs, and local community organizations and leaders in Monmouth County.
