A New Day for Head Start in Clark County In March of 2008, Acelero Learning Clark County was selected to serve as the replacement grantee for Clark County by the US Department of Health and Human Services as part of a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Our goals for the Clark County Head Start program are two fold: first, we want to expand the amount of full-day services provided by the program to serve as many children and families as possible. Second, but no less important, we want to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the classrooms by ensuring all staff are well-supported and well-qualified for their important role as teachers and leaders. Acelero Learning brings value to Head Start by managing programs well, providing high quality service and never forgetting that caring is the most important thing we do for children and families.
